The press conference of the MAZI Foundation for the disclosure of the collaboration with the Healthy Lifestyle Camp took place yesterday, Wednesday June 25th 2014 at 18:00. The innovative program Healthy Lifestyle Camp began in 2007 and is held annually since. The program involves groups of children aged 10-15 years and their training to learn the principles of nutrition, as well as the right ways of keeping fit for good health. The ultimate goal of the Healthy Lifestyle Camp is an innovation in the treatment and prevention of obesity facing the world today. The Healthy Lifestyle Camp will be held from 1-6 July 2014 in Agros.

Coordinator was Mrs. Georgia Della, Secretary of the Members of Board of MAZI Foundation who opened the event by welcoming the attendees.

Mr. Michalis Papadopoulos, President of MAZI made a brief reference to the Maria and Andreas Zorba Foundation for the prevention of eating disorders and obesity, and the initiative of Zorbas Bakeries for the creation of the foundation four years ago as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility. He focused on the activities and objectives of the Foundation during its four years of operation, and stressed the importance to support new innovative initiatives like the Healthy Lifestyle Camp with the active presence of representatives of MAZI such as Dr. Theodore Kyprianou MAZI Board member who will participate in the program to talk to the children about the Foundation.

Mr. Papadopoulos gave the floor to Ms. Nikoleta Michaelidou who focused on the idea of the program explaining how the Healthy Lifestyle Camp started and how it has evolved to date. Ms. Michaelides thanked MAZI Foundation for their valuable support and for putting this effort under their auspices. Appreciation was extended to the sponsors of this year's program.

Ms. Della thanked Zorbas Catering for hosting the press conference at their premises and for sponsorship delicious snacks and beverages which the guests had the opportunity to enjoy. Finally she thanked Rgb Design & Publications Ltd for the excellent organization of the press conference.
