- Develop a positive body image by focusing more on your health rather you’re your appearance.
- Try to dress up and take care of yourself and don’t wait to reach your ideal weight to buy the clothes you like.
- Ask yourself if there are things you avoid due of your appearance.
- Avoid weighing yourself more than once a week as this kind of behavior leads to a negative constant preoccupation with your body.
- Do not judge yourself or others depending on their weight.
- A person does not lose his/her value when gaining weight and hence weight loss does not make a person better.
- Change your negative beliefs (eg I can not continue my life without weight loss or if I do not have the perfect body).
