Zorbas Bakeries will participate in the 5th IN Business Awards, with a nomination in the Corporate Social Responsibility category.

The Zorbas Group of Companies created the Marias and Andreas Zorba Foundation “MAZI” for eating disorders and obesity, in May 2010. A. Zorbas & Sons LTD proudly inducts the Foundation under its Corporate Social Responsibility umbrella, promoting the message of mutual aid and compassion, which are the principals on which the initiators of MAZI rely on.

The Foundation seeks to create the ideal circumstances for sensitization and active initiatives in both public and private sectors for the improved treatment of eating disorders and obesity in Cyprus. Through its actions it provides information for prevention and undertakes research work in order to protect the consumers’ health. Aiding the purpose of this project is the construction of the first comprehend rehabilitation and recovery centre for people suffering from eating disorders and obesity.
